Break down a game — $15 Deeper pass — $30

Paid once, per game. No subscription and nothing stored on your card. Buying means agreeing to our terms of service. The deeper pass looks more closely, for film where the standard run misses plays.

How it goes

  1. Pay for one game. We email you a link that belongs to that game.
  2. Upload the film. Straight from your browser, up to 25 GB. Close the tab when it finishes — nothing else needs you.
  3. We cut it. About twenty minutes for a full game, and we email you when it is done.
  4. Download everything. One zip: a clip per play named in order, the whole game cut down to just the plays as a single video, a CSV you can open in a spreadsheet, and a JSON file if your software reads one.

This or the software?

Same detection either way — this runs the identical program on our machines instead of yours. Which one suits you is really about how many games you have.

What happens to your film

Worth being plain about, because it is the real difference between the two.

Your film is uploaded to storage we control, read once by the analysis, and deleted as soon as your clips are made. The clips themselves are kept for three weeks so you have time to come back for them, then removed too.

During the analysis, Google's Gemini API sees a low-resolution copy of the film, a few minutes at a time, with its sound — the same as the desktop app, and the only part of this that involves anyone else. It runs under our paid Google account, and Google's terms for that say none of it is used to improve their products.

If your film shows minors, that is worth a thought before you upload it anywhere, including here. Our privacy page says exactly what we keep and for how long.

Before you buy

What do I actually get?

One zip, and in it:

  • One MP4 per play, cut snap to whistle at the original quality of your film, named so they sort in order.
  • The whole game as one video with the dead time removed — every play back to back, for watching straight through.
  • plays.csv — timecode, type and length of every play, for a spreadsheet.
  • plays.json — the same thing for software that reads it.

Ordinary files. Drop them into whatever you already use.

How good is it?

On our test film it finds every play on every run. It is not magic: a fixed sideline camera that follows the ball is what it is built for, and footage from the stands at a distance is harder. If it misses plays on your film, tell us and we will refund you — we would rather know.

My upload is slow / it failed halfway

The upload goes in pieces, so a dropped connection costs one piece rather than the whole thing, and reopening your game link picks up where you were. A 6 GB game on a school connection can genuinely take an hour.

Can I send several games?

Yes — buy one at a time and each gets its own link. They are processed in parallel, not one after another, so three games do not take three times as long.
