What film it works on
American football game film from a sideline camera that follows the ball, which is what most tracking cameras and camera operators produce — youth, middle school, high school, college and semi-pro. MP4 for the software; MP4, MOV or MKV to send to us. Film with its sound is best, because the whistle helps mark where a play ends.

How do I break down football game film into plays?

How long does it take to clip a football game?
About twenty minutes for a game once it is uploaded, whichever way you run it. Sent to us, the clips are usually ready within the hour.
Does it tag down, distance and formation?
No. It cuts the film; it does not tag it. Each clip gets its play type, such as run, pass or kick, and a one-line description, which is enough to build cut-ups. Down, distance and formation are yours to add.
Can I make a highlight reel from the clips?
Yes. Every play is already its own video file, so a player or a parent picks their plays instead of searching through the whole game.
Will it find every play?
On the footage we measured, five plays of five, on every run. It judges video with a statistical model, and those are occasionally wrong, so check the clips before you build a game plan on them.
