SnapToTackle is published by Kay-Maids LLC. This page says what we collect, what we deliberately do not, and who else is involved. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.
The short version
Your film stays on your computer
We never receive your game film, your clips, your file names or your folder paths. The software reads the film where it sits and writes clips beside it.
We never see your Google key
The Gemini API key you paste into the app is stored on your machine and used from your machine. It is never sent to us.
We do not sell anything about you
No advertising, no trackers, no analytics scripts, no data brokers. There is nothing here to sell and no arrangement to sell it.
What we hold

The machine identifier is a salted SHA-256 hash. It lets us tell two installations apart and cannot be reversed to identify you or your computer.
What we never hold
Your game film. Your clips. Your file names or folder paths. Your Gemini API key. Your card number — that goes to Stripe and never touches our servers. Your password, because there isn't one.
Who else is involved

Footage of minors
If you coach youth football, this is probably the question your league will ask, so here is the direct answer: the game footage stays on your computer. What Google receives is a few hundred thumbnail-sized frames of players at a distance, sent under your own account, for the seconds it takes to identify where the plays are.
You remain responsible for having the right to analyse the film you process, including any consent your league, school or association requires.
Your choices
Write to [email protected] and we will tell you everything we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Deleting it ends the licence, because the licence is the record.
Depending on where you live you may have further rights — to a copy of your data, to object to processing, or to complain to a regulator. Ask and we will help rather than make you cite a statute.
